On November 20, 2023, the Intellectual Property Department (IPD) of Myanmar issued new application forms for registering literary and artistic works. The forms, detailed in Official Gazette No. 73/2023, follow Article 101, Sub-article (a)(2) of the Copyright Law. This initiative aims to streamline the registration process, ensuring submissions align with the country’s intellectual property laws. By introducing these standardized forms, the IPD underscores its commitment to strengthening Myanmar’s intellectual property system and providing better support for the nation’s creative industries.
