Myanmar Intellectual Property Office (MIPO) has officially declared that starting February 1, 2024, the country will begin accepting registrations for industrial designs. This initiative, under the new Industrial Design Law and according to the regulations set forth, aims to protect and manage the intellectual property of industrial designers. Applications can be filed with the Intellectual Property Department as detailed in Announcement No. 1/2024 issued on January 31, 2024.
